Lovi Poe shares why she’s loyal to her home network

Some people might be pondering why Lovi Poe chose to stay at GMA-7 for more than decade. In a recent interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), she confessed that her loyalty comes from how her home network treats her.

“Happy kasi ako sa pag-aalaga nila sa akin. My heart has always been here naman.”

Lovi was asked why most of her outfits in the series “The One That Got Away” are more conservative-looking, contrary to the usual beach snaps on her Instagram page. Her on-set wardrobes were also compared to co-star Rhian Ramos’ fashion style, to which she clarified that the latter’s role is more daring than hers.

“No, because siyempre I do it a lot as Lovi, so why do I have to do it as my character? Hindi naman siya ganun. So, parang I wanna be seen different sometimes. Parang I’m always… n4k3d. Lovi Poe is always n4k3d, ‘tapos si Alex pa rin, n4k3d?”

Meanwhile, the loyal Kapuso was also asked for her thoughts about the remarks she received recently after she was spotted sitting beside Alden Richards. According to PEP, “AlDub” fans were outraged upon seeing the snap, making them accuse the actress of being clingy to the “Pambansang Bae.” But to Lovi, it was petty enough to not warrant undue attention.

She was then asked on her thoughts on working with Alden in the future.

“Well, it’s part of the job. I mean, hindi naman natin maiiwasan yun. May mga iba’t ibang tao, iba’t iba naman ang opinyon nila. And the only thing that you can handle is not what they say. You can’t do anything about that, but you can only handle. What you have control over is your reaction. I’m not really affected because we’re good friends and it’s part of the job.”
