Two of “Wildflower”‘s prominent actors are also bidding their farewell to ABS-CBN.
Actress Maja Salvador reacted on Wildflower co-stars Sunshine Cruz and Wendell Ramos transferring networks and said that he respected the decision of both actors to choose the transfer networks.
“Siyempre, iba ang Kapamilya. Iba ang ABS-CBN,” Maja said when asked during her endorsement event in Makati City.
“But, at the end of the day, hindi ko masisisi dahil like, si Ms. Sunshine, single mom siya at kailangan niya mag-work, di ba? For sure, si Kuya Wendell, siya yung breadwinner, siya yung tatay,” Maja added, considering the situation of both actors.
“So, kung saan may work, di ba, don.”
Two months after the popular revenge drama “Wildflower” ended, both Sunshine and Wendell got offers from the Kapuso network and accepted.
Maja shows her sincere support, especially to Sunshine.
“Importante na may trabaho tayong lahat… Mas lalo na kay Ms. Sunshine. Siya yung naghihirap para buhayin yung three kids niya,” Maja said.
Co-actor Aiko Melendez also revealed that she was aware of the offer from the other network to Sunshine and Wendell. In fact, she was also given an offer.
“In fact, ako din may offer ako sa kabila before. Sabay na sabay ‘yung Bagani and then ‘yung offer ko do’n sa kabila. But I opted to stay with Kapamilya dahil nga ang ganda ng Bagani,” Melendez explained.
As long as good opportunity comes, go for it. As the “Wildflower” leading lady puts it: “Ang sa akin, kung saan may work, do’n.”
