The new Kapamilya star Ryza Cenon finally set the record straight on the reason of her network transfer.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the 30-year-old actress brushed off the harsh criticisms thrown at her such as “ingrata” and “walang utang na loob.”
The actress said that she doesn’t feel the need to react to the negative comments since she personally knows what transpired in her dealings with the networks. Despite being still tight-lipped, she pinpointed the Viva Artists Agency on explaining the real reason for her network transfer.
“And I think, yung Viva ang makakasagot niyan, hindi ako. Yung Viva na ang dapat mag-explain.”
In fact, Ryza Cenon revealed she’s not all affected by the bashing directed towards her. According to her, she didn’t do anything wrong. She said that her at GMA-7 for fourteen years proves that she’s loyal and understands the meaning of “utang na loob.”
“Nagpaalam ako nang maayos. Hindi ako umalis nang basta-basta. I think, ginawa ko yung tamang proseso.”
“Okey naman, tinanggap naman nila [GMA], and naintindihan naman nila kung ano yung napag-usapan ng Viva.”
Furthermore, Ryza Cenon confessed that she felt nervous when she finally entered the hallways of the ABS-CBN network, for the contract signing.
This is how she described her first-time experience:
“Iba ang experience, nakaka-amaze! ‘Tapos, habang pumipirma ko, sobrang lamig ng kamay ko, kabado ako.
“Sabi nga sa akin ni Ma’am Cory Vidanes: Relax ka lang, hindi kami nangangain, huwag kang matakot.”
Her first television appearance in the Kapamilya network is “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
