In case you missed it, Kapamilya singer Morisette Amon checked a huge box off her life goals – she graduated from junior high school. Through the “Alternative Learning System,” the 21-year-old celebrity has finally received her high school diploma. This was a sweet victory not only for the singer, but her supporters as well.
Naturally, Morisette wanted to share her sweet success with other people, more specifically her fans. This prompted the singer to share her big news on Friday, April 13. Based on her viral post, she received her diploma on Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science Technology High School located in Quezon City.
Along with a photo of her diploma, Morisette also shared a few words of wisdom to her Instagram followers. Even though she’s already a successful singer, Morisette Amon admitted that there were things still missing in her life:
“I remember back in 2010 in Cebu, that time we decided to relocate to Manila to chase my dreams, nalungkot po talaga ako na kinailangan kong iwan muna ang aking pag-aaral, 2nd Yr HS pa po ako noon.. but now there‘s today, where I was one of about 500 students from around QC D1&2 who have graduated/part of the ‘moving up’ ceremony.”
For Morisette, she considered the Moving Up ceremony a big achievement since it did not only enrich her mind, but also her perspective. On her post, she shared that she has encountered people from all walks of life:
“Kahit may ‘trabaho’ na po ako ngayon, I still felt like there was something missing… iba pa rin pala talaga ang fulfillment ng nakakapagtapos. Mahirap man i-juggle lahat but balance is key. Pero mas lalo po akong na-inspire sa mga batchmates ko who each had their own stories to tell, and have also reached this achievement in their lives.”
