Two months ago, Vice Ganda underwent surgery for his kidney stones, resulting in a limited field of motion for the Unkaboggable star during his hosting on It’s Showtime. As an update about his health, he revealed that he has a scheduled CT scan for kidney stone monitoring. On Tuesday, Vice Ganda wasn’t able to host the last segment of the noontime show, Tawag ng Tanghalan. He explained that he had to rush to the hospital for his scheduled CT Scan.
“Sorry di ko na natapos ung TnT (Tawag ng Tanghalan) nakaschedule kasi ang CT Scan ko ngayon ng 4pm so i have to go na to the hospital. Pray for me ha,” Vice Ganda expressed in a tweet yesterday.
He also revealed his recent ultrasound, deciding whether the tube attached to his body can be removed or not but to his disappointment his body still can’t manage to function on its own without it.
The comedian host admits that his condition affects his entire job and hopes for the CT scan to come out well since he cannot bear the pain anymore.
Before the said operation and in his recent tweet, Vice Ganda asked netizens for their prayers and understanding on his condition especially when he can’t be on “It’s Showtime.”
“Pero as much as I can, I will continue to make you (all) happy, I will continue to make you laugh, I will make you smile at kahit waley na pipilitin natin maging havey,” he added.
