It seems like the world has crumbled for Joshua Garcia, who has recently been mired in controversy involving a third party coming between him and his rumored girlfriend, Julia Barretto. These rumors, which were fueled by screenshots of a private conversation between the actor and a female netizen named Dane, haven’t stopped since it came to public consciousness.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Joshua Garcia cleared up that Dane was not, in any way, a part of his life.
“Si Dane? Tito Boy, wala lang po siya. She’s just wala, wala siya sa buhay ko. Hindi siya naging parte o kahit ano.”
In a quivering voice, he explained that his comment was meant to be a compliment to Dane and nothing more.
“No.
Joshua Garcia also denied the rumors that insinuate that he and Julia Barretto broke up.
If there’s a silver lining to his recent controversy, it’s that he has learned to be more careful with his actions the next time around.
According to him, this ordeal also brought him closer to the Lord. If anything, at least the young actor learned a life lesson out of the controversy.
